Our Christmas tree did not fare well the week we were gone to Idaho. We came home and couldn't see any of the ornaments because the branches were drooping so low!
We were able to spend Christmas morning at home with just our family which was really nice. The boys loved their toothbrushes and coloring books in their stockings.

You can never go wrong with Spiderman
It seemed that the reindeer were only slightly interested in having carrots. They must have been full. But Santa barely even left any crumbs from his cookies. What a pig!
After opening presents and going to church, we all came back to my parent's house. "We all" as in 10 adults, 9 kids, and 5 babies sitting in one living room opening presents. It actually wasn't as chaotic as we had planned.

Dawson really wanted to help my mom pass out presents. It's been a tradition my whole life that mom sits in front of the tree and passes out presents while my dad sits in the back of the room, video taping the madness and holding the trash bag open for us to toss in balls of wrapping paper.

It's always a good feeling to see your kids actually playing with their presents.
Christmas was wonderful this year. We were so blessed to have a wonderful 2011 and we are eternally grateful for our Savior, His birth, and His atonement. We hope 2012 will be even better!
